On March 20, 2010 The Tuks & Caicos National Museum and Lee & Astwood Architects revealed the concept design for Providenciales' very own branch of the National Museum. This gala fund raising event included cultural entertainment by David Bowen at the Regent Palms Resort.

2010.02 Atrium announces soft opening

Atrium Resort development has announced its soft opening for march 2010. Located in the Leeward community, the site is now open to the public for escorted tours and has high expectations in the real estate market.

2009.11 Weston Medical College

Intentions for new school of medicine was formally unveiled at a modest ceremony last Thursday, November 12.
The $7million school of medicine is initially based at Queen's Landing in Grace Bay but students will transfer to a 11 acre plot in Long Bay when construction is completed on the sizable campus.

2009.10 Hubert James Primary School Addition funded by CDB complete

Major construction is now complete on the addition to the Hubert James Primary School on North Caicos. The project is sponsored through cooperation between Turks and Caicos Islands Government and the Basic Needs Trust Fund of the Caribbean Development Bank.

Lee & Astwood is pleased to professional partners with TCIG and CDB on this and other core infrastructure projects around the country.

2009.06 Conch World opens

Residents of the islands of Grand Turk can now stand proud as the much anticipated soft opening of the islands' first Conch World was was held this Monday, June 1st, 2009, allowing residents, tourist and future visitors to the island to enjoy the conch themed enviroment.Lee & Astwood provided Architectural and Engineering services to Cockburn Village and Farms, the developer of the unique destination.

2009.04 FCIB Grace Bay to open at Salt Mills complex

Major work is now complete on the FCIB Grace Bay Branch located in the Salt Mills Complex. Lee & Astwood oversaw the construction of the interior fitout to the Bank's specifications. The Bank's own internal security and infrastructure personell will close out the remaining works. FCIB expects to be open for business at this new branch in June 2009
 

2008.12 Police moves in to Sapodilla Plaza

The Chalk Sound police station was officially opened today December 4th, 2008 by Government officials, and is said to be one of the first steps taken to ensure not only the safety of the community and residents of Chalk Sound but to assist with the coastal security in relation to illegal immigrants, among other reasons.

The Station is located in the Sapodilla Plaza, which was designed by Lee & Astwood expressly with the intent to house an advanced and well-equipped outpost of the Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force.
